This is a 3D animated short film prologue I spent 9 months working on, it was made in Autodesk Maya and rendered using Pixar's Renderman. The film is about a mysterious character who explores the dark depths of a giant abandoned facility. The purpose of this instalment is to create an atmosphere and establish the environment. It acts as a prologue to a whole series of upcoming shorts films about the character's journey through the facility; this is just the first phase of the story.

based on the established environment, atmosphere and main character i'd say this is gonna be good.

Now that was suspenseful.
Can't wait to see what happens next.

I like the modeling and the camera work but the animation leaves a lot to be desired. The walking almost looked like some kind of robot made by Boston Dynamics; it's works but looks totally unnatural. Also, there wasn't a lot of animation throughout the animation. For that walk cycle being pretty much the most prominent animation in the short, it would probably help to clean it up.

I'll definitely be looking for new installments in this universe. You did a great job establishing the atmosphere and environment. With that said, I would work on the movement mechanics and body language in general for your protagonist.
