This is a 3D animated short film prologue I spent 9 months working on, it was made in Autodesk Maya and rendered using Pixar's Renderman. The film is about a mysterious character who explores the dark depths of a giant abandoned facility. The purpose of this instalment is to create an atmosphere and establish the environment. It acts as a prologue to a whole series of upcoming shorts films about the character's journey through the facility; this is just the first phase of the story.

It was Ok I guess but you just gotta work on the fps. Also, I didn't really get it I mean... was it supposed to be creepy or like... a build up or what?

Great style and look about everything, I love it. Just needs work on the animated movement. :)

Bad animation.
You could have learned the 3d stuff at college for a few hundred.

Great job wasting $40,000/£20,000 of your money.

And atmoshere is piss easy to create, just watch a lot of Lynch, Kubrick, play fantasy games= emulate the atmos.

Gluck in your future projects.
