cheers for FP once again!
Hey guys, a lot different to most of my work this year. Still has a clear message though.
"A tale about overcoming ego and trusting inner creativity to find love."
I actually started this very vaguely back in 2009, but had only animated the opening sequence! I had some motivation recently to go and complete the remaining 90% of it. Hope you enjoy!

Great work, although my retort is that if most chicks find out you're drawing pictures of them, ESPECIALLY with protein shake powder on the floor of your house or whatever, their first reaction is probably less like falling in love with you and more like calling the cops because you might be fixing to murder them or something.
But yes, I get the message, it's sweet and good job indeed!
LMAO! thanks bud, made my night

Terrible example of vanity, a better one would be someone who looks at himself in the mirror constantly, what you portrayed was someone who works out to be an image of vanity.
Decent animation

so he performed suicide by throwing his head back against the rock in the end? if so, neat. if not, the fuck is she crying for? lol.
he feinted or died (whatever you decide) because he realized that she had fallen in love with him after she saw his display of artwork using the muscle powder that he spilled. but really, at the end of the day the interpretation is up to you as well.

Not sure why some didn't now what was going on with the girl. Anyway, the style was nice and the twist at the end got my attention to watch again. Because of the NG general mood I was expecting some kind of twisted joke or something more aggressive, which in turn ended up being something not so expected, refreshing and smarter? I dunno. I just know I enjoyed this submission both the story and the "flow".
By the way, if this was a tv classic cartoon I can imagine some kind of "vanity vs visionary" / brute force vs smart ass battle for the lady. The funniest I've seen was the one on the Disney's Sleepy Hollow, but your animation as it is, is just fine.
Keep up the good work.
Glad you understood and enjoyed how it flowed! I will keep it up for sure, thankyou :)
