Lead Anselm through this unforgiving sidescroller, use the lantern to bind demons in a pentagram of light, and free this once peaceful city from an ancient evil.

Loved this game! Definitely original and greatly entertaining!

I thought the voice acting was rather well done and the voices fit their characters quite well. The story was/is interesting and Anselm's character development really intrigued me. As far as gameplay goes, I thought everything was perfect. You didn't waste massive amount of time on the generally pointless slaying of minor enemies, which you don't often find in many games. Your use of bosses as the main enemies really made me happy, and made me want to keep playing. It was just difficult enough to be a challenge, but not so difficult that it was frustrating.

Overall, I commend you for a job damn well done! I most anxiously await the next installment to the series! Best of Luck!!

Beat the whole thing, didn't get the medals to show for it? That's one fucked glitch.

That said, the gameplay was phenomenal, the graphics were above average, but the voice acting was both unnecessary and terrible. The cinematic scenes and storytelling were unnecessary. And at certain times the music was obnoxious.

For such a long story the player never finds out where the hell Anselm comes from nor where his town is. Or why he escaped all by himself. Although that all doesn't matter since instead we're left with an interesting plot with several twists. And I really didn't care at all about the story.

Awesome game! Great art, and fun gameplay. A few comments though, I think there were too many boss fights for the small amount of possessed/lesser enemies. Or maybe you're trying to break away from that formula. Also, lag was horrendous, especially when reloading the crossbow. I had to close everything else I had open for the last demon fight, 'cause I just couldn't form the last pentagram thing fast enough.
But other than that, I had fun. Voice actor was great too :D
