Much better than the previous versions, the sprites are much better along with the background and tiles, very well done.
"Updated a boatload" was removed because it is an unfinished game. This is still just a demo and I see no differences between this and "Updated a boatload." Please do not resubmit a game that has been removed unless you have made noticeable changes to it.
If you want to upload an unfinished game (demo, test, etc.) please do so in the Dumping Grounds.
Now would be a good time to tell you I personally removed it as I couldn't update the file.
This game really has nothing going for it right now.
First of all i usually don't complain about graphics because games have their own styles, but this seriously looks like it was done in MS paint in a couple of minutes and the background needs to be easily distinguishable from the tiles, here they are not.
the controls are bland and boring, the walking has too much acceleration/deceleration and is really tedious and the wall jump is buggy and if you are under a roof and spam Z you can simply jump off the roof as if it were a wall.
the enemy AI sucks... really that's all i can say for it, when you get hit you get pushed back and then the game reloads, no animation, no sound, nothing, just phasing back in time, and the enemies float! seriously could you not add gravity to them? it is extremely simple in stencyl and it is just game breaking without it there.
The animations are bad and look like they have had no work at all put into them.
There is also nothing to say which enemies you can or can't kill and there for makes even more tedious.
also i have never heard the music before but i have a sneaking suspicion that it is copyrighted, if it isn't that would be the only thing you have done right with this game.
This game right now has nothing going for it, it is lower than average in every way to say the least and really needs to be improved majorly, you shouldn't release a demo unless it represents your final product at least a small amount and if this is representative of your final product, you need to really re-think the whole game.
Right, I cannot help but notice a few things you've left out.
1) The Enemies have HELICOPTER BLADES, that allow them to float, thus gravity would mean little to them.
2) The Enemies have graphical differences to differentiate between the various types.
3) The music is not copyrighted, and I see nothing to support this in-game.
The rest of your problems do indeed exist, BUT, those 3 just seemed a bit more like you were being mean, even my stupidest friends could see the difference in the enemies designs and the helicopter blades. Although, If you're colourblind, I apologise, and again if you cannot differentiate size or facial expressions.
The file size is too big cut that down
