Yep, it's done.

Second Wind, folks, Second Wind is here.

It's a witty blend of Text Adventure, Roguelike, and Sweet Simplicity.

All in all, there are 20 classes, three skills each, three major areas, four endings, countless monsters (as in, I'm too lazy to count them,) treasures, specialty shops, equips, weapons, and more.

Folks, this is one big game.

Also, there are medals, lots of em'

I sincerely dare you to beat the game on Nethack Difficulty.

And remember, dying is all a part of the experience :D

enjoi.

The last update was on October 21st, Version 1.57:

- Fixed up the Saiyan's awaken doing absolutely nothing.
- Fixed the broken meter glitch... Hopefully.
- The "explore" segment should run faster.
- And some other stuff I can't remember.

Send a PM with any additional problems and I'll get on them as soon as possible!

4 stars because although it is a very good game, this bug prevents me from keep playing it: i killed the life and logic god and he gave me 50 potions, now my potions show as "NaN" and everytime i use them, i instantly die; even creating a new character didnt solve this (he was lvl 1 and used a potion just to die from it)

I truly enjoyed your game with one exception, the accuracy in the game sucks. Even with the monk whose description states he has amazing accuracy even on weak monsters he misses. The game get frustrating fast because I can't hit anything and barely get a chance to run. Thankfully you have one class, the Espers, that allows you a guaranteed hit. It was the only way I made it through this awesome game. Also sometimes I used a potion and it auto killed me.

There is also a problem with the game and new grounds metal where it does not recognized that I reached level 10. I played to level 25, beat the game and went to play the class you unlock at 10 and I could not.

The main thing was the accuracy. Fix that and I would easily give it a 5 star because it easily was one of my favorite games I have played

You DIDN'T unlock the class at level 10?

Dang...

Fixing ASAP...

Edit: Fixed

Had to stop playing after being killed by a guy who had zero health and wouldn't die after being hit again.

If you made it faster to restart instead of forcing us to sit through the intro sequence each time it would be more bearable.

squidly responds:

That was actually literally just fixed a few minutes ago! Sorry.

Really enjoyed this game. There are some bugs, as some have noted. The only bug that I experienced that I haven't seen in the other reviews is that I died fighting a god and never saw him again. I have a feeling that affected my ending.

Otherwise, the accuracy thing is a major problem. Enemies' ability to dodge seems to increase far faster than your character's accuracy. As such, the Psion was the only playable class for me, since I could spend 1 PP for a guaranteed hit. Some balance tweaking and debugging and this game would be awesome, with great replay value. I can see it as a mobile game as well.

squidly responds:

Yes, that's supposed to happen - if a god kills you, that's it.

Now the ending is actually different for something a wee bit else, it DOES have to do with killing/not killing gods, however :D

If it helps, my hint is that I call it the "perfect run" ending.
