'When they want you dead' is a madness story with a little different view on the 'bad guy' thing. If you find the intro boring, don't worry, just sit back and wait, there's a lot of good action later.

Kills: 178
Length: 22m15s (33,440 frames @ 26 fps, dynamic speed, interpolation)
No cliffhanger!
Lines of code: 4,400

It uses my own 3D animation engine. It utilizes not-so reliable but powerful features of the Flash Player. You'll need version 11.2.

====== IMPORTANT ======
There's a chance that you won't be able to start the animation at all. There's a YouTube link below the title for this reason. Also, make sure to choose appropriate quality (old/good/modern hardware). If you find the animation ridiculously slow, restart it on lower quality or rather watch it on YouTube.

Happy late Madness Day 2012!

Well your animation certainly was a breath of fresh air the way you incorporated 3-D effects into a 2-D animation. Naturally there were a few bugs here and there but that's understandable and easily, for lack of a better word, excused for the effects you were trying to achieve, however I felt as if the flash rather overstayed its welcome: The main characters were introduced, they complete a few objectives, some little grey fellas get shot and/or mutilated, new hard-to-kill characters were experienced, all this is great in a Madness flash however over time the combat began to grow monotonous and unappealing: Main character walks through door, this time 4 "bad-guys" are in the room, they stand around/ move towards the character to die, death ensues, lather-rinse-repeat. I mean, at least Krinkels incorporated a large variety of weapons, different character outfits, a large array of background items other than lockers such as posters and other knick-knacks, lots of things to keep the viewer looking. Don't get me wrong, you did a great job, certainly better than most of the other Madness animations submitted, in my opinion. Next time, as a suggestion, I would trim down the combat time, add some variety, and keep doing the 3D animation thing. Loved it.

I imagine you worked very hard. Your style had it's charm. It did get a little cheesy at times, though. The movement speed was awkward, and there were a couple times when you broke the third wall inappropriately. The important thing is that it was entertaining.

I guess it was alright. The fight scenes were literally painful to watch. Like I was literally in pain. That's how slow they were.

Next time. Better not more.
