Thanks to the huge number of helpful reviews here on Newgrounds, I have been able to address a number of issues with the Original release of Super Duck Hunt.

Crying.ico boo woo
It has good sprite animation, but just is too slow-paced and drags on. It gives you an exciting story then never touches it again. This has good potential, and when you think it's going to get better, it just makes the dog run away and the credits roll. This could really be improved if you tried (not to say you didn't try, that is awesome sprite animation and good refrences and comedy).
This is some absolutely great animation, that's enough to gain you 3 stars. Very Impressive, you should feel proud of yourself. However, the Story didn't really seem that interesting, and at times the pacing of the movie was really slow. I was thinking, "Okay, when will he finally freaking walk past the stupid hammer brothers?" Not to mention the abrupt ending that did not resolve any issues that were introduced in the entire movie. The large amount of violence and dark humor made me feel sick to my stomach. I don't want to see the happy pixelated characters of my childhood bleeding excessively, ingesting "chemical waste," and eating shit off the ground. Others might not mind, but I do.
A very well animated cartoon with tons of really impressive custom sprite work. However, the exposition at the beginning was extremely slow, and felt unneccesary given that the rest of the cartoon wasn't really attempting to tell a story at all, much less follow the same one. The ending came a little abruptly, too, as I was expecting some kind of conclusion to be reached.
That said, it's still an impressive piece of work, and the use of so many different NES game soundtracks was a nice touch.
So the whole point of this video was to beat the crap out of the dog, right? Because honestly, that's all I saw. The story is there only for to keep some cohesiveness for the whole animation, but in general it seems everything about this animation had one intent: Torture the crap out of the Duck Hunt dog. There were several parts that made no sense, that offered nothing to a narrative, that all seemed intent to bring severe harm to this dog (Like getting the needle up his nose and getting that virus)
I mean, it was good animation. A lot of quality sprite work, but I don't see the reason for a lot of the scenes. Some stuff gets dragged out for waaaay too long, the video is constantly being distracted by unimportant characters, and the overall punishment being given to the dog is probably excessive.
In short, it was good, but it could've been a lot better. For something you spent so much work on, I'm surprised you didn't put more into the story itself.
