an endless game without save points so do not die, get high crit, stun and attack stats, use the special skill/magic and re-visit old explored rooms to defeat the weak enemys to get some potions so you can refill your mana and your health.
noooooooooooo, i lost my spell!

It's visually nice and mechanically sound, but feels ultimately aimless. It needs leaderboards, or some sort of persistent unlock system. FTL is a good example of how playing through a game can net you small rewards that make you want to start over. With Bit Dungeon, I made it through once, died on the first boss in the second run, and didn't feel compelled to keep playing. With a few little tweaks this could be a game I want to play for hours instead of minutes.

I love this game, but one quietion: Does it ever end? I played for a while now and I like long games, but after I got to the altar and took the shadow sword I got back to the first caves and began to fight the old enemies, monsters etc.
