You and your wife were captured by demons! You have been trapped in a dungeon for a thousand years asleep... You wake up trapped in cell, grab your weapon and let the quest to find your wife begin!

New update:
Fixed sats & difficulty.
Change soul and save mechanic.
You can now gather 10 souls = 10 lifes chances to keep going.
fixed attack speed bug and score exploit.
Critical is now critical*2 rather then critical+attack.
Life gives to armor now.

Coming soon:
New world, new boss, new wife interaction based off the soul.
Shop based of score system as currency.

Very fun, unique, carpal tunnel-inducing game

It does however lack a guide, which is a real bummer
-the later levels are far too easy, at level 40+ the enemies never do more than 20 damage, and by then you have 600+ health
-archers are overpowered, just kill them first though and you shouldn't have any trouble
-diamond armor looks rush, and all diamond weapons have the same texture, so a diamond hammer actually looks like a sword, very dissappointing for endgame equipment, i would've just left equipment maxed at the 'red equipment' textures
-Proc is WAY OVERPOWERED, i would halve anything that adds it
Critical, as a stat, is WAY UNDERPOWERED and should have gains at least twice as fast as attack does (for those who dont know yet, the only thing critical does is raise damage by said stat amount on a critical hit, and the chance for a crit. is based on percentage by the 'xcrit' stat, default 5, changes with some weapons)
-ice and moreso, chaos make you invincible, espically with proc spamming the spells

if you want to 'win' the game then only train attack and health, and train attack 4 out of every 5 times, only use a hammer, and keep any equipment that gives a "magic proc" bonus
you'll spam spells like a mofo, and chaos will make you invincible so long as it's active (the three balls of energy rotating around you)

As for lack of a guide...
potionfind-% chance of finding potions in generic loot containers that you walk over
lifesteal-% chance of stealing a very small amount of life from the enemy on hit
deathstrike-% chance of instakilling an enemy, doesnt work on bosses as far as i know
chop-% chance of getting a 'chop' (instakill or bonus damage, cant tell)
cleave-% chance of getting a 'cleave' (see above)
xproc-% chance of your spell automatically casting on hit, very overpowered, hammers give +10
xcrit-% chance of dealing a critical hit (critical hits are only attack+critical, so just train attack)
xdefend-% chance of negating all damage from an enemy attack
runspeed-how fast you move

also, all the armor that says "+50 armor" doesnt actually give you 50 armor, it gives you +50 max health

Indeed, a nice game.

Graphics fitting, music and sounds lovely, stat system reasoned yet challenging (you've got to find out what the different stats e.g. "chop" do), repetitive yet not boring.

To the people complaining about the broken save - it's not broken nor bugged, it is meant that you lose the save upon death, the save feature is just there so you can pause for an hour or sumthin or keep playing over several days without losing your progress.

And the names of the magics aren't bugged either.
It says "Lightning" on the floor and "Poison" after pickup because magics are combining or overwriting each other.
Ice, Lightning and Fire are the 3 basic spells which you can freely combine (by simply walking over them) into the advanced spells like Poison and Chaos.
Picking up a basic spell while wielding an advance spell that is not combinable, will result in an overwrite (e.g. picking up Fire while wielding Chaos will result in you having the Fire spell)

Yet I've got 2 questions: Will anything special happen after playing long enough ?
(first the grave - then the ghost - then ghost with heart - will there be anything else ?)
And what is the soul for? I really can't figure it out at all.

It would be really nice of you, KintoGames, to add a little more information aout the game either in the description or into the game itself (like the spell explanation I did, I found it self-explanatory but apparently other don't). And tell us what the soul is there for :P

The gameplay itself is engaging and rewarding in the early stages of the game and the difficulty scales well into the mid game, as you're forced to adapt your tactics to more difficult environments. Since death is permanent, something the creator probably should've mentioned, you'll refine your build as you start over & over and get a better understanding of which stats/spells/effects are best.

Some bosses are very easy, and others more challenging... the fire boss was straightforward, as was the chaos boss (the two headed one): those two could probably use some different abilities. But they are all easy enough after you learn what they do.

Is there an end to the game? Since the dungeons repeat, I can't tell if I'm wasting my time playing an endless mode or if there's an actual ending. The only difference I can tell is that I've picked up a soul a while ago, and don't know what it does or how to use it.

Made it to lvl 9. couldnt beat it due to archers being so powerful, and not having the shield anymore as i had lightning instead. level 7 dagger might be glitched because it said +70 crit but when i equiped it and looked at statsit lowered from my previous weapon, my lvl 6 red spear that had +61 crit
