So it has been another rough month, and I've been rather negative and pessimistic this whole time. Although I know there are some obvious flaws with this video, I'm going to use this space to say what I actually like about it for once.
1. I tried a different art style, and I think it worked out fairly nicely.
2. I managed to completely change the genre of the movie from a comedy to something more serious in about five days, and it came out a bit better than I anticipated.
3. Although not all the sections are frame-by-framed, I am proud of how smooth certain scenes (like the one where he is standing by the car) turned out when viewed simply for the animation quality.
4. I also redid the music a few times because of the change of genre. I like how that turned out.
5. I made a fully functional 3d rig in Blender for the main character. Although I didn't actually end up using it at all, it's the first time I've done that from scratch.
yeah so thanks for listening and supporting me so far in NATA.

edit: new, less boring thumbnail. also an easter egg in the credits.

This was very strange. I couldn't help but think that maybe it was trying to have some deeper message, like about isolationism or something. It's actually a fairly original premise when you think about it. I assume the guy himself disappeared in the end. It was interesting to have little detail what was going to happen next. It was really cool how everything escalated so quickly.
It was so creepy it did seem like something that would show up in a Halloween cartoon. Or maybe it was meant to be more dramatic? Whatever the reason, this was still great to watch. The animation was great and I'm glad you experimented with a new style. That's always fun to do, I imagine.

Reason why I live my life with grains of salt, one of which being 'not caring'. If you don't hold something precious to you, you won't become complacent with having it. If you don't become complacent, you won't take it for granted. If you don't take it for granted, odds are when the aliens try to perform psychological torture on you, they'll wonder why you're laughing when everything around you is disappearing and decide to leave you the heck alone.
Sure it's risky and the complete opposite of the 'moral' (that being, everything is precious), but it's theoretically insane, so no one would really consider it in the first place.
This said, good flash.

Yea... you live your life like normal... suddenly thing dissappear... and suddenly... all is gone. That's how life is... seems to have a very deep meaning, this.
The thing I wonder is now is... where did the time go?

i loved it. if i got it correctly the ending is about how we get so annoyed over losing keys coffee and other stuff we forget how little it really matters, and how we take the bigger stuff for granted like our house and family and we wouldnt really realise how much the little things meant until we lost all the big stuff.
