It took me a while to figure out the controls (for a few minutes, I was simply hitting space, turning my arrow, then failing after 3 seconds). Eventually I realized what you meant in the author comments. A great game, really, and it becomes so addictive the faster it gets.
You should really include some instructions, though (or maybe on the main menu, is that how to play?), to avoid more people like me being stupid. 4/5 Stars, 5/5 daily.
This game is completely unplayable simply because of how sensitive the controls are. Tapping the arrow keys sends the triangle over two sides of the hexagon making it impossible to just move over one side.
I award you no stars, and may god have mercy on your soul.
One of the best games I've played on Newgrounds in a long time. The concept is blindingly simple and yet the execution from the player tones down to one of the best spatial recognition games in the world.
Even the smallest things are taken into account: the hitbox for the arrow is, in fact, slightly smaller than the arrow itself. With this simple design choice, every time you get hit, it feels justified that you got hit.
Its a game that completely and fairly tests and rewards a player's skill, to a nice beat that varies just enough to keep from being repetetive.
And no, please don't listen to the people asking you to add a 'slow' key or change arrow sensitivity. The traps are built completely around the current speed of your arrow as is, and is completely balanced.
An excellent and original concept with a very tasty challenge level. The only problem that I founded in the game, it's the main track, despite its suitable at the beginning, in the long run it's quite repetitive and annoying.
