(Sorry followers, I had to re-submit this there was a big mistake needing fixing)

And yes Piccolo is totally Batman.

Now with mp4 access I can upload the video in a much better quality. After getting some constructive feed back from the community, I have made some large changes. The addition of a longer ending and some re-drawn scenes.

Still having trouble with animating the mouths, any advice would be nice. As for the artwork and animation, you'll notice that this episode has many "moments" that are heavily influenced by different events in the show. You may also notice many simular looking stances and poses of the characters as I did use references from the show when drawing. I didn't feel like doing the background mattes.

I watched DBZ again for the first time in over a decade and I was just struct with such nostalgia, I had to do something. The idea for this episode I had when I was a kid but never had the means to make it. Even now I still feel that I have lots of learning to do. I am slowly trying to get better at flash and this was a big learning experience. I know there is a lot of DBZ material on Newgrounds, but this was just something I needed to make for myself.

A great tribute to DBZ, very true to the orginal. Unfortunatly it was impossible not to laugh every time Piccolo opened his mouth. Keep up the good work.

You created an episode just over 12 minutes, a reasonable and unique wish within their universe. The fight was rather interesting to watch and I was not surprised to see her transforming into a monster as her power just continued rapidly increasing every moment the fighting continued.

I was rather impressed you did not end the fight with a large energy blast like every other fight in DBZ, but rather the difference in combat experience.

Downsides - Why was she turning into a super saiyan, she has no saiyan bloodline does she and why did she turn back into her regular human form after she lost the battle. I understand that you did not want Sage to die, but could you have at least given an explanation or more detail to the wish she made...

In fact, in this timeline can't the Eternal Dragon grant 2 wishes? What was the other wish?

Or was there another person who made their own wish?

...? *chants* Sequal! Sequal! Sequal!

You bring up some good points!

I did want her to be more monster like as her power grew, your the first to really make that connection. As for the ending, I did not want to end with a large energy blast like you pointed out. That would be what people expected and its over done, I feel. I liked the early DBZ episodes where it was more about martial arts and besting your opponent with clever attacks. The idea for Sage was to have a villain that could not be overpowered. It came down to fighting skill and smarts, which was her weakness having unearned power.

Sage is not a Saiyan. The idea was that she started to look like a Saiyan because metaphorically she had become what she hated, she had became like Vegeta, a bully. As for her transformation, it was more that she was just glowing from the light cast from the energy ball she was holding, which also was pulling her hair up. That in mind she did have a huge burst in power, and had a white aura on top of that, not so much a transformation in the sense of a Super Saiyan, more of just a temporary boost in power do to the wish (kind of like how Goku goes red with kaioken).

At this time no sequel is planned. However that is not to say I won't make one. If I do your other questions will be answered as I actually do think this stuff through. ;)
