This game is hard but for all the wrong reasons. The levels require pixel perfect movement but the controls are not fine tuned to allow this. The end result (especially once you hit the final ten or so levels) is that is that you end up throwing yourself at an obstacle hoping that THIS time the game will give you a pass. I stalled out on level 35 because out of almost 200 attempts, I only made it past the initial spike shaft ONCE.

Everything else is well done. I like the music and the graphics are nice. I also would have liked to have seen the ending because the game does have a good setup. But the challenge is so unfair that its just not worth seeing it through to the end.

Honestly...this game is frustrating as all hell. (no pun intended)

The music and graphics are well done, no lag and very smooth. The background music actually helps keep the nerves down a little bit.

HOWEVER, This game will, I repeat WILL make you rage. If not on the outside, then on the inside. It is a very frustrating game for a few reasons that I found:

1) The controls feel like they have no friction. In a needle timing game like this they should be EXTREMELY responsive. Move when you press, freeze when you don't press. I found myself dying countless times because I tap a jump and end up hitting a spike ceiling because he jumped the full height.

2) Some of the levels are just completely unforgiving whatsoever. Yeah there is a thrill of having pixel jumps but IN EVERY LEVEL? C'mon...There were several in the early 30s that were just atrocious for this. With the reason stated in number 1 these levels just turned into a die and try fest. No very fun imo.

Over all, good game. Just needs some work on controls or a little bit more forgiving on the levels if you aren't going to change the controls.
