You know those Wak-A-Mole games you find at amusement parks and carnivals? Why not build a giant-sized version of this, and call it Wak-A-Bum? You'd have a large padded hammer, you put in a dollar, the bums get in, and stand on platforms that go up and down. You wouldn't get any prizes, of course... the prize would be the game itself... bashing homeless people over the head with a giant hammer.
At the end of their shift, the bums would be able to split the loot, and I figure that if you assume each Wak-A-Bum features five people, each game lasts one minute, and each shift is four hours long, including a fifteen minute break, at the end of the day, they'd be able to walk away with $45.00 each. In a week, that's $225.00! Not bad, for just standing around. Everybody wins, and it would give these people a sense of purpose.
