This is the final release of Palisade Guardian 3! A very big thanks to the NG community for testing all of the beta versions of the game. I also wanted to mention that due to popular demand, all of the content that was previously 'premium'/'paid' has been made free. Enjoy the game!

Do you have what it takes to fend off the alien invasion?

Destroy all aliens with 6 epic weapons in 9 awesome stages! Winning a level will award you with stars, spend your stars in the Tech Tree to upgrade your weapons. Playing levels will also award you with coins. Use coins to buy Power-Ups for an extra advantage on the battlefield!

1. Click to shoot.
2. Spacebar to aim down your gun sight.
3. Power-Ups: Buy Power-Ups before you start a round, and then click the Power-Up icon in the top left of your screen. Select a target for your Power-Up if prompted.

It's a nice side scrolling FPs defense game. Simple, straight forward, nice use of a "Tech Tree" to upgrade weapons without using game cash. But there were a few things. The aiming can sometimes cause lag and can cause the loss of control. Trying to aim down the sight, move, and shoot causes the game to lag and, like I said, causes you to lose control of what you're doing. But I do like how not all the maps are the same. It's not you defending the same objective for hours on end. And getting a new weapon every few levels instead of charging ludicrous amounts of in game money for something that may not even be effective against a particular alien. It's a nice game. Just has a few things that'd be nice to fix up.

I didn't like this game. Once I got a hold of the sniper rifle, I was pleased the mechanics of the aim were stable and smooth...but the thing only holds about 5 bullets and that's it. So it's back to the shotgun -- whose reload sound gets incredibly annoying soon enough. Yet the other guns are nearly useless. Also, no toggle-aim. You have to keep a finger pressed down on the spacebar constantly. Too many games out there these days do that. Call of Duty games always have this convenient feature. Other than that, the graphics are good.

First, some comparisons to it's predecessor:
+The weapons have more uses and are not necessarily obsoleted by new guns
+The tech tree adds customization to the game
+The graphics look more attractive
-The new power ups are so effective yet require so little skill they feel like cheating
-The bigger targets make aim less important-- which is massively detracting from the entertainment value of the game
-You can no longer scroll through your weapons, which ironically was practically useless in II, but in III it would be quite helpful

Some stand alone issues:
It appears there's no way to pause the game or quit a level without just closing the whole game.

After beating a level you are automatically taken to the newest part of the map which is quite annoying when you're trying to beat past levels. Frankly, I don't see why all the levels aren't just displayed on one page and unlocked as you progress. It may be a bit unoriginal at this point, but at least it's convenient.
