UPDATE: Thanks so much for the front page and all the kind reviews you've been sending in! Many of you have been stuck at a few key places/can't find certain items so I included some hints (spoilers) at the end of these notes. Hooray for Newgrounds!
Controls: Mouse to move, A to use your weapon/tool and S to open your stash.
Story: Your village is sacked and you're the person who's going to figure out what happened! Talk to villagers and run around aimlessly and eventually you'll find your way to one of the multiple endings.
Everything else: This is a small project I made with the desire to do some pixel art and have some fun with new game mechanics. I don't include very much direction in the game because I want players to explore as much as possible, even if that means getting pissed when a wolf comes up to you and eats your face. Music was done by my friend Jessie Landis-Eigsti, so hip hip hooray for him!
****** Hints and Spoilers *****
The Lute (5th Token):
Hidden (quite hidden) somewhere on the southern section of the map. It is not in a cave and you don't have to kill anything to get it.
Slaying the Dragon (4th Ending):
You need the 5 tokens before you're in shape to slay the Dragon.
Second Ending:
This ending is a bit of a spoof, when you get to the horse, don't catch it with the Lasso. Try something else...
The Butterfly:
It's just a butterfly.

Probably the best game on newgrounds there was a point where you had to restart because you got the bow a lot of people did not like this but I saw you said this was on purpose, so all in all this is a fantastic game no problems at all love it also thanks to you I discovered the game seedling which is a similar genre to this TY !

Really cool game! Very fun and long enough imo. Also, what happens if you kill the horse? Cause I couldn't do that anymore after saving it..

Superb and fun to play ! A little short of course, but REALLY funny, make my day with this game, definitively 5 stars for me.
I lol the most when I see the line " You trade the sword against a rope. You're a terrible trader" Ah ah ah !!! xD
Thank you for your game, it's really good! Please continue to make them, I will definitively continue to play ;-)

Pretty fun game. Interesting dialogue, story.
-0.5 stars for the terrible combat system.
I liked the graphics. Very old school.
Onto the game, for those who are confused.
Tip. Pick the rod over the bow, you'll get everything you need for the bow in time if you pick the rod. Click on everything, dig the spot to the east and the south. Dig the graves.
Four endings.
1. Kill the horse.
2. Save the horse.
3. Kill the witch (southeast cave, kill everything in there, talk to someone in south west cave, talk to priest, talk to witch)
4. Kill the dragon. Get the five tokens, go to south west cave and talk to people, go to wizard,kill dragon, give tooth to knight.
A hidden dig site lurks below, and to the east. The one to the east has a x on it. A lute lurks to the south. Kill everything. The rest should be easy.
