Version 0.9.8:
- As well as a new Game Modifiers screen and five new medals, GRADUATEs can now "pass" the Golden Mallet to other GRADUATEs! There are bound to be some nasty bugs in the game, so if you spot one please send me a message.

Graduates and Gorillas: the game is a strategic board game, featuring the S5 Graduate and the S3 Gorilla Suit Guy from LEGO's Collectible Minifigure series. It was submitted to LEGO CUUSOO with the aim of making it an official LEGO set.

In this demo of the game you control the GRADUATEs, whose task it is to reach Bristowe on top of the balcony. Bristowe has an endless army of GORILLAs at his disposal to try and capture the GRADUATEs. Which side will come out on top?

If you like the game, please give feedback as well as suggestions for game/rule changes, as this is a continuous work in progress. More importantly, please support the Graduates and Gorillas: the game project on LEGO CUUSOO.

Why is Bristowe even trying to take over a school?

If you fix some bugs like the gamefreeze and make a good dicesystem it is great!
In fact I had fun playing it if you work further on it , it will be a great boardgame.
The idea of the game is pretty cool and earns a 3.5 from me.

At first its a nice board game funny i liked the idea then played more and found out this is shit be cos of the shity dice and the unfairness

At first glance, its a nice board design and unusual but funny premise. But as I played more, i found the gorillas get a big advantage, reducing the fun.
The game seems unbalanced, needs tweaking. As of 8/6 the current stats, 197 grad wins, gorillas 376 show a clear advantage to cpu Bristowe. I suggest treating the gorilla icon (on a grads turn) as one gorilla move once all 4 are out. The grads getting thwarthed by a whammy of missed turns AND moving all 4 gorillas is painful. Another idea to balance it out is to fix the hammer, which relies on the current wielder to get captured to change hands. Letting any grad in the gold space acquire it, or let it be transferred between 2 close grads as a turn are suggestions. I also notice no one has captured 3 or 4 gorillas in one smash, the AI only seems to support sending one or two gorillas at your graduates, the others travel aimlessly. I really like the idea, just a few difficulty issues to address. I hope you get your idea to Lego's attention.
