4.03 / 5.00 47,430 ViewsThe game concept is to hunt the maximum number of birds without losing the lives using the arrow keys for directing the bird and space bar for releasing the bow on to the bird. The number of birds hunted gives the score.
Controls:
up/down keys to rotating the bow direction up/down.
left/right keys to pull back the arrow.
Space bar to release the arrow from the bow.

The controls are simply ridiculous and the game didn't have that much effort to begin with.
Horrible.

I like the arcade feeling of "My name is Shikari"; no medals, no in-game upgrades, just the player and his/her highscore: the only things that really matter are skill and practice.
Keyboard commands feel well-chosen and almost intuitive, but birds'paths are easily predictable and that makes the difficulty curve rising too slowly over the levels.
there are too many different graphic styles in one screen: the drawing of the character, the picture of the sky and the animation of the birds are completely incoherent. The sound is very annoying and there's no mute option: a longer and less lousy soundtrack would be better suited for the game.
I really want the author to release an updated version of "My name is Shikari", with new sounds and graphics... and a mute option: NEVER forget this. I've played way too many flash games without that essential feature.

What can I say? I'm a sucker for the bow and arrow. I'm just wondering where there's a huge pile of dead birds with arrows stuck through them. not.. a.. hunter?...
