4.18 / 5.00 15,640 ViewsIn a world without hope were almost everything has vanished into darkness one man struggles for survival.
This is a Survival Horror/Psychological Game were you take the role as old Sam, trying to survive the harsh winter lands. The goal of the game is to simply survive the world's end.
The game features a dynamic event system that, based on the time of day, will trigger different events. Trying to aim for a new experience for each play-through with up to three different endings
Movement - Arrow Keys
Z - Use/Interaction
X - ToggleMenu/Cancel Sleep
NOTE: There are no mouse inputs in this game, only keyboard.
Instructions also follows in game with a tutorial cinematic. Please follow it as it helps a lot. The game will autosave for each new day.
As mentioned there are 3 different endings (Good, Neutral & Bad), depending on how you play the game will result in one outcome. To get an ending you must have received a knock on your door where you are prompted to open it at least 3 times.
I hope to make more games of this sort so if you like it (or don't) please leave a review for feedback and whatnot.
If you encounter strange bugs try updating your Flash Player, usually a lot can be fixed just by doing that.
Good Luck!

Not scary at all. Also I find it anoying when it gets dark you really can't see shit in the dark. So you are fucked whatever you do.. Also where is the damn horror music? No game without a good soundtrack imo. sprite graphics are cool though. I liked that.
I disagree. The absence of any real music makes you listen only to the ambient sound and whatnot that you otherwise might've missed if there was a looping track going on all the time.
It adds more suspense, at least in my opinion, without a music track.

Decent game, but the terrible grammar and syntax just completely killed it for me. If English isn't your first language, stick to simple descriptions and a very basic story . If English isn't your first language, there's no excuse, shame on you for not proofreading. Continue creating interesting content!

Greatly done game. The only things I'll criticize are the jump scares, which at first worked a bit, but then just felt cheap. (This does not include the forms moving towards you. That was awesome and creepy as hell). And the lack of a pause button. If I have to get up in the middle of it, I'd like to not be dead when I come back to it. I ended up using the scenes in which you converse with the Visitor, as time stops in them. Besides that...Doctanner pretty much has it covered in his review. Loved the atmosphere. The garden illusion was a bit over used. Would be nice if it had a little variety, at least, if not different all together. More food than rabbits and berries would also be nice, as I was tasked with finding a white hair each day, or risking starvation. More to do with what appeared to be the hallucination of his daughter, or with others(I think he'd had a wife, for instance?) included, would also be nice.
I really loved it all in all though. And I would LOVE to see more games like this. I could go on with compliments, but this review seems to be running on a bit already...so in conclusion, keep up the good work :)

I thought this was a great game. The story behind events is okay nothing fancy but hell it works. The whole sequence of events is neat. Occasional glitches do mar the game at some points (I once stopped time by answering the door.) but the otherwise experience is fun. The atmosphere is generally creepy, the lack of music in the game is a smart decision and should you make a sequel I implore you to do as you have here.
As for actual complaints well...we only get a snapshot of Sam and his problems a bit more fleshing out could have been nice.
Also the length, I was disappointed when I finished the game on the 8th day.
More daytime illusions would have been neat. (Not things like the garden) but instead things like seeing people or making things disappear from the map only to re-appear later.
In the end I ask you to make another one of these games. This was a fun trip regardless of the length. Do it again man!
