Great game! It was really well done, with only a few problems:
1) Sometimes the character gets stuck in place, and you have to mouse-click to get you to move again;
2) In the later levels, when you fall down a hole, you end up in an endless cycle of falling down that hole and you are forced to either die or extract;
3) Sometimes the character is stuck in a running motion and you cannot stop your character from running, forcing an extract.
Thanks for the great game!
P.S. nice rock placement at the end, definitely used it lol
Sorry about some of those issues. Glad you're still enjoying the game.

Okay, so this looks pretty cool. As for storytelling, you set us up in the very beginning, so if the other games contained history I needed to know, now I know it, or at least enough to play this game.
I'm on the first mission and the sprites look kind of awkward (like her running) but I'm giving you HUGE bonus points for having a sword swing that is sideways and requires you to use perspective, not just rotation. I can attack while moving, which is a plus, and while jumping-- I wish I could attack while crouching, but I can't.
The biggest problem I have (and probably only I will have it) is that, even though my graphics are on low and my sound is off, the game lags incredibly.
And because of that, I won't get farther than this first level.
I give it a three, because it is, "not bad," and, "in fact, I like it." Maybe someday I'll get to play it on a better machine than my laptop, or you'll reduce the graphical detail (like the layered backgrounds). Nicer sprites would be cool too, but they're okay.
Oh! And I like the idea that you get sword, sorcery, AND a gun. The character feels cool, not like a gun witch, but like a magical shooter.
Thanks for the detailed review. Sorry about the lag. I've primarily built turn based games so flash optimization has been a learning experience.
