Defeat the enormous mechanical beasts--and become one of them.
4.04 / 5.00 50,659 ViewsJustins Mind is a short art game/interactive narrative about a little naked white man called Justin. He is a patient from Mindville Psychiatry. By a medical examination Justin got a blackout, and was gone for hours. While he is at sleep, he begins to see crazy things in his mind and a whole new dream world opens up, a world for the player to explore! The game is more a movie, than a regular game. The game took about a month to finish! With animation by one of my friends, "Sophisticated Koala"

I love the art style to death, it's a great game that is very well executed with well done voice acting (fitting the artistic choice of the game) and it creates an amazing atmosphere both audibly and visually.
Well worth the wait for the game to download.

Could use some subtitles, I used earphones but some of it was still inaudible. Perhaps some of it was meant to mindless rambling, but still.

Great game! Understanding the mind of a crazy creepy man. The thing I wonder is, how can this relatively short game have space for incredibly 63.8MB???

when justin walks away from the psychiatrist character it means that he either fears him or believes that he is trying to kill him, or maybe he doesn't want help

Justin def isn't (only) a psychopath, seems more schizophrenic to me...that aside, this was way cool. The voice acting was fantastic & really contributed to the "creepy" factor. Animation was good too, especially in the ending sequence. (IMO that doctor was the creepiest part of the entire game.)
The only things that really detracted from it were that 1. it didn't have much of a storyline, and 2. there's little replay factor. I get that he's hallucinating, but hallucinations usually have some basis in past experiences...maybe you could make another game in which he hallucinates his life story, but way more twisted (and with more facets that the player can actually explore)?
The way the game is set up now it's more an animation than a game, which is fine, but if you made the world more complex it'd be wicked and a very unique experience.
In short: Good job, kid. Hope to see a (longer) sequel one day.
