The gameplay concept is pure and fun. The AI is too stupid right now, the platforming needs tuning (very frustrating) and the game needs some optimization love in Stencyl. Seek Stencyl forums for help. My fps is around 25-35 which is sub-optimal for a platformer action game. You need to be at least at 40+ fps most of the time. With some tweaking and tuning this could easily be a 4+ star game! Keep up the good work.
This seems like it could be a great start to another, more in-depth game! I had no issues with lag at any point. The game was simple, short, and easy (except for the last level, couldn't save those poor hostages at the door). The game is, however, TOO simple, short, and easy. I was hoping to see different weapons, different enemies - more than just 4 basic types of people to shoot at.
2 1/2 stars for good effort, I'd really like to see a more robust game from you!
Admittedly I did play this for a while before giving up...
Had this game been more about shoot em up than platforming it would have been much more enjoyable. honestly the jump mechanics and the platforms were just god awful. I would sit there for a minute trying to get up ONE platform only to fall back down because the character would EASILY over compensate.
The reason why I played as long as I did was because I thought the game was going to BE more interesting. More interesting backgrounds, weapons to choose from, or at least some variance in the people you were fighting. There really wasn't much of that, which left me a bit disappointed.
Lag wasnt an issue for me, but definitely the character movements were too shoddy to let me enjoy the game. This isnt to just blam you, as I do see potential in what you're trying to do. So three stars for effort. Keep up the good work. I hope to play something from you again in the future.

This game is perfect, I played all the way though!
