Resonance is a musical platform puzzle game originally created during the Global Game Jam in 2010 in the Netherlands, where it won both the audience award and the jury 1st prize.

The goal in the game is to collect and play notes to resonate the blocks and alter the level.

Walk around with the arrow keys. Play notes with 1, 2, 3 and 4 (when collected)

Earlier this year Resonance came to iOS (for free).

EDIT
Added a medal resend button to unlock medals in case they somehow failed to unlock.
Many thanks to DoctorStrongbad for this idea!

Well, this game was laid out in a really nice manner, but it was too difficult. I'm on the second level where I collect the red note and then collect the blue note and nothing happens. Even when I didn't collect the blue note, I was unable to advance. At least this has a really pleasant appearance to it. What I also didn't understand was why you had a button that could reassign you to restart the level. Even if you used it, the notes you used weren't there anymore.

You could just as easily restart the level by just dying on purpose. The character is pretty well detailed. I tried to look back through the instructions, but even when I refreshed the page, I couldn't find the instructions again. I guess bigger fans of yours will enjoy this more. You've certainly succeeded in creating a surreal game.

Great game but the time limit to reach three stars is to demanding D:

Really good game, but it seems that the medal 'Hero' is not working. If I'm right, fix this, please, and PM me.

Quite fun to my surprise as normally games like this aren't really my cup of tea but I quite enjoyed it. Very well throughout and wonderful graphics and I really like the background music, quite pleasant however, I will admit the sound of the notes after awhile were just so annoying, I had to turn off the sound. I think that last medal though is a bit out of my reach, I could barely get three stars in 20 levels, let alone all of them! :P Enjoyable game though.

The game is very well designed. It is challenging and fun. The only thing that seems impossibly hard is 3 starring even 20 of the levels. On my best attempts I get what I think was an excellent time, however I receive 3 stars. I think it should be made easier to get 3 stars on at least the first 20 levels. Getting the Resonating God achievement is for Gods only it seems
