This is the first level of my very first Flash game!
The evil scientist has sent his ninjas to take over the cat lady's home. Don't let them into the yard.
Nice idea and all but literally, about an inch away from the side of the screen and you can't move until you click again. Seriously needs more polishing.
1) Sometimes the collision system glitches out, allowing ninjas that have been deflected by you to head right back into you several dozen times in rapid succession. It's difficult to figure out the why's or what's of this situation, and that's not my job as a reviewer. It just seems to me that this is a fatal flaw in a collision-based game.
2) Further, the mouse controls glitch out regularly, meaning that sometimes you're stuck there watching the ninjas fly past. Again, the point of the game is to position yourself carefully in order to deflect the ninjas.
I don't see any cats, but I assume that they are somewhere later in the game, right?
Please take this back to the drawing board, as I'd like to see a game about cats and ninjas that works.
I am also disappointed by no appearance of cats, however what disappoints me more is the lagging, glitching and all around poor controls. If the ninjas are to low when you make contact to bounce them back up they glitch and just keep bouncing on you until you move then they reach the ground. I myself am not a flash developer so half a star for actually making it and obviously doing a good enough job to make it run, however it was a poorly done game.
