IMPORTANT--- You may see a white screen at first. Please be patient while the movie loads.

NOT IMPORTANT--- This movie was created for the intermediate round of NATA 2012. Once again, I tried to expand my horizons and do something different than my usual content. This time, I went with something with a bit more action and complexity in the animation, which is balanced out by the overall simplicity of the art.

The lacking in faces was a plus for me. Often facial expressions need to be accompanied with dialogue at the least so removing the faces gave it a much fresher feel.

I find that this kind of animation is under rated. You can truly see the creativity an artist has in his work when he's able to convey feelings and atmosphere without the use of words. It allows the viewer to be more observant of body language. Dialogue is best used for humor. And when I watch stuff like this, I am able to truly draw the line between humorous animations, and art.
I can call this an art.

The mouse was a nice touch. I liked its running animation. lul

My thoughts exactly, from beginning to end.

A lot of the inspiration for this actually came from this older gem, which actually is an amazing example of showing communication without voices, text, or even facial expressions:
