I really love this game ! I already played 2D mouse-controled shooter, but this one is one of the (if not the) BEST game of the genre !

-GRAPHICS- 4 stars
The characters such as the guns and the environment is very well made. However, to see how good the graphics are, you need a quite recent computer for the best graphics/speed quality.

-SOUNDS / MUSIC- 4.5 stars
The sounds FX are awesome (the same for the voice actors), but I won't talk about the music, because it's not my kind and also because of the ingame quality due to the file size limit ... but they actually sounds pretty good if you check them at the NGAP (especially for the main theme that is taken from an hymn used in the American Civil War).

-GAMEPLAY- 5 stars
Moving around the place is quite easy, I really enjoyed the fact that you automaticly climb low obstacles instead of jumping every five seconds to climb from boxes.

-TIME WASTE- 3.5 stars
This game is a good time waster but it would be MUCH better if you can actually level up faster, it gets a litle bit annoying when you reach level 15 with all classes

-MY OWN FEELING- 5 stars
This game is like a mix of all the greatest and mostknown shooting games, being inspired by such games as Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty. I even laughed my ass off at references to Star Wars, Shwartzeneger (come again ?), James Bond, The Chuck Norris himself and also the baseball bat ... BOINK !

I learned of Strike Force Heroes when I seen a negative review of a similar game called Intruder Combat Training, which I reviewed positively. SFH was referenced as the game ICT wanted to be, and that statement may not be wrong.

Gameplay wise SFH is exactly in the same vein as ICT, with SFH not being as realistic with the whole jumping with 100 lb RPGs, moon gravity and all. Not necessarily a flaw, but the gravity can be tedious at times with how much of a target you are the longer you stay in the air. Not to mention all the times when trying to fall from a platform to one below me only to stick to the ledge and die from the enemies I was trying to escape from.

Unlike ICT, there's a class system with levels, kill streaks and skills. The question here is; are the classes balanced? Well, kind of. Each class has 2 different primary weapon types, except for the medic who's pistols act like sniper rifles without the range bonus, and rifles act like the commando's rifles and machine guns. There's some pretty big balance issues at play here. Medics are weak early on compared to other classes, but the revolvers you get later levels have such absurd DPS and burst damage. However their skills are lackluster and the killstreaks they get that are shared with team mates don't really seem to have an effect compared to what other classes get.
Assassins are perhaps my favorite class. Weak initially but the potential to 1-hit enemies, even one of the creators of the game at long range is great fun. Doing a capture the flag game and smoke bombing with the intel back to base to get a point is equally fun. What's not fun? Melee weapons. The concept alone is retarded. Why go into melee range and risk dying to go for some sword swings that MIGHT hit (sometimes) and MIGHT 1HKO your enemy, when you can do it from far away with something that won't put you in an enemy's aggro range? Also nothing is worth using until the katana and you got a good enough crit %.

The Commando was my favorite class at first. The AUG is so damn accurate, ammo feed means you can never stop shooting, and you can use bouncing betty after BB to rack up more BBs. Problem is, the DPS, burst damage, and aim of any gun he has is just horrible. The Dragon that the medic gets is everything I want in a commando weapon and it's not even automatic. Explosives are strong in the burst area but can't kill like sniper rifles do, can hardly hit multiple enemies, and have shitty aim. Good killstreaks though.

Tanks have by far my favorite skill + killstreak: Adrenaline and Ricochet. Adren let's you live SO much longer it outclasses every other perk in the game except for vital sight on the assassin. Ricochet just dominates everything, even if it lasts 5 seconds. Shotguns are decent, shields not so much. The aim loss is steep, combined with the fact the only secondaries worth using are the pistols. Automatics and SMGs prove that once again, no burst damage or DPS = garbage.

The object of the game is to beat all the missions, challenges, level up classes and have fun somewhere in between. While this is indeed fun and all, leveling becomes a serious chore. There's no option for level 31+ enemies in quick match, so you'll find yourself doing challenges 5000 times to level up to 50 to get that POS Cyclone.

The visuals are more cartoony, advanced, and effects heavy than ICT. This game eats up processor power and I lag with a lot of enemies on screen even with the lowest settings. Playable, but it does lag.
Audio is good. There's a lot of music in this, but alas it's all compressed to piss poor quality. Flash file size constraints and all.

Overall I also really like SFH. Glad I heard of this game. I enjoyed it and put about as much time into it as I did ICT so I'll give it the same rating.

Bugs: Meat says it reduces accuracy but doesn't. Ammo boxes will make you reload again if reloading.

Nitpicks: Medals in game but none on NG? Wtf? No timer for Martyrdom or Self-Revive? Tank's Adren better than the MEDIC's Regen Tissue? No volume option for music and sound? :/
