I was playing Max Payne 3 one day and I thought of this crazy animation. Thank you guys for supporting me and giving me inspiration to do this :)

I wanna also thank my amazing voice actors for being in this! They did an awesome job on their parts, so go check them out!
Also thank you ATheatricalSongBird for voicing the girl character! I hope we can do some more projects together.

Watching this has been slightly like well-made YouTube Poop. It just proves that randomness doesn't equate to humor. It was random when it shouldn't have been, it's not the egoraptor sort of random, it's Scary Movie kind of random, and to be honest I couldn't finish it. It's a Max Payne 3 parody, but it was crammed with Anime stereotypes (the comedic stylings of Naruto) which you probably must think is funny. So do other 13 year olds, so you haven't completely compromised your integrity. Also, remember when Mario and Sonic were in Max Payne 3? And how the attackers were all a bunch of pussy hipsters with tourettes? Yeah it's so fun when you satirize something with relevancy. You swiped - or buried - any observation that's relevant to the subject that you were parodying, added Anime, retro gaming characters, randomness, and screaming. In other words, hipster shit, which you didn't need to do in order for it to be funny. If you went to a more extreme you probably would have added Skyrim jokes at the end. (I couldn't finish it, sorry).

You may think to yourself "What's up with this asshole? Y he B hatin'?" And you'd be right about the first half, because I see wasted potential that's BURIED because you compromised your style. You literally did that! You try so hard to be "anime" when it's clearly not your thing, and if not at least not relevant to Max Payne. One look at the pre-loader, with Max Payne pulling a "funny" anime-like goofy face, while remaining cutesy at the same time, that really worked. The whole animation, it's almost as if the style is having identity crisis, it's like your actual drawing style is trying to get out in some bits. I've seen your art submission and one of them say "hot anime girl", is someone trying too hard here? While you might defend that with "I like Anime, so why not make it my style? Even when it grotesquely doesn't fit" and you'll go ahead and do that and compromise creative integrity, to the point of using it when it's out of place.

You just single-handedly proved every egoraptor, and anime critic right with this flash. I'm disappointed because I see potential in your work that has been buried with a lot of things that don't need to be there. Your deformed version of Anime could possibly turn into something really good in the future, like Teen Titans. I wish you all the best with your bastardized style. I'd be even more happy when you prove me wrong, and you'd do that by either sending me something you've drawn with your own style, or doing a parody that's actually funny. I believe in you!

CooliSushi responds:

I actually agree with everything you have said, I did kinda do too much with the style without making the animation fit the style, I guess I was trying a little too hard with this one xD next time I make an animation like this, it wont be too much as random as this one. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
