It's a pretty cool game, only a few problems:
Enemies feel too resistant to damage, even lesser enemies take way too many shots to die.
The protagonist feels like wet paper, the damage just flows too quickly to him, and the upgrades don't do much either.
Some weapons were just awful or had ridiculously short range to even work.
The homing weapons are just plain unfair; you can't shoot them down, so you have to either dodge them out of the screen (which is nearly impossible because of their momentum loss when they turn) or wait for them to lose their time (which is too long), not to mention the sheer number of them appearing at once.
I still loved this game, and I do expect a third one, only with a better "feel" to it.
