"In your heart".
Story : a struggling musician is overwhelmed by negative thoughts from a harsh world, seeking to release it, he plays with out heart, but truggles, and realizes channling his emotions and placing his heart into his work release's his negative thoughts and at the same betters him self at what he does.
HOW IT WAS MADE
The project took 3 weeks to do, 1 week of background drawing 10 fully linked, and 2 weeks for animaton, 2166 frames of hand drawn still image, the method of animation used was rotoscope animation, its where we used a video refence as a guilde line for animation, "i draw on one screen, video refrence on another screen beside me" which explans the smooth shaps. and why it looks like an actaul person, we used was my best friend as the modle nelson
The backgrounds are 3D elements made from my hand drawn images
also louis : autio engineer and music provider. him and I recreated all the sound and movments in the animation.
And lastly the video in the movie itself was a small expermental video i made myself, recorded abunch of strange looking things lying around my town and made it into a sort flim, with in the flim :D
sorry for the low quilty, the final produce was 3Gigs, had to compress to half that size.

great film. after animating with a video guideline, do you think you've significantly improved your skill in human animation and drawing?

I love it when you can tell that a person put their heart and soul into a project to convey not just a message but a raw emotion.
The animated bits were awesome, the live action cut-ins were random as hell but that made my brain click into gear for the music. which was a lovely little melody.
Everyone goes through this one way or another, getting strapped down by brain chatter and bull until they disconnect their self from it and just do what they want to do.
That's the message I get out of this short film.
