You are trapped deep underground, travel trough 30 dangerous and various levels, avoid traps, falling stones and collect crystals to gain points.
Nice graphics, and the ambiance was peaceful enough for one to bear with the controls through more than one level.
I mean, I understand that you wanted to make this a little bit challenging, but seriously, a sliding character ? Hell, the main reason why I usually am disappointed by flash platformers is because of their poor collision system, but you seem to have made it worse on purpose. Not to mention the hitboxes, it's pretty laughable to get killed by spikes that were a few feet away from you, or by a projectile that hit your freakishly big head because there wasn't any way to crouch.
So I guess this is a nice attempt, but it ends up being more frustrating than fun. If you're gonna make a Mario clone, at least do it with all of the model's features, especially about jumping dynamics. IMO, that kind of controls would be a better start for a Runner game, tough.
found a bug at the first level where you have to use the falling blocks to get up on the rock and you won't revive . Otherwise it's prettygood .
Nice enough graphics. Enjoyed the background music. I would have given this at least 3* except for the controls. I felt like they were 'slippery'. Also, instead of arrow keys and the 'z' I really would have preferred all arrows or the 'wasd' configuration. I think this game has potential but needs some tweaks.
The levels' difficulty was extremely varied, and not in a good way. Either it took one try to beat the level or it took thirty, with no in between. On the jumping levels, staggering the blocks so we don't have to be on the very very edge and pressing over to be able to jump would help. And there are a lot of jumping levels - you can only jump on blocks that fall so many times. The character controls are strange: why use 'z' to jump instead of the up arrow? Either the surface being walked on is very slippery or the character controls are far too powerful - when I tap a key, I don't expect the character to go a quarter of the way across the screen.
All in all, not a very great game. It was okay, and it only took me about half an hour to beat it - but that half-hour was divided into many fifteen-second levels and a few ten-minute levels because the character kept hitting its head on the blocks above it and/or refused to jump.
