This is my tribute to the arcade classic Centipede, and to the Llamasoft version "Gridrunner":
I played the original 8-bit Gridrunner a lot when I was a kid and loved it, recently I got the iOS update
and thought it played really well. I hope I've done it justice with my interpretation.

Man, this game was was amazing. The music, the powerups. Pretty much everything was fun. I don't know how much more you can implement to this game that hasn't been done to death before. The game is quite hard and I'll admit I got a few game overs once enemies started to flood the screen, but I think the difficulty is what gives these types of games charm.
Anyway, back to the review. As much as appealing the music is, I think you could give some more varieties. Maybe 3 different types of music? Gameplay wise, I have nothing much to say except that maybe make the upgrades stay longer? Either, this was quite fun to play

awesome game. all I would say is that we need to be able to keep the upgrades, and maybe there should be health or something so you won't die that easily....idk. but otherwise AWESOME game. loved it

I did think about adding a health bar but in the end I wanted to keep it true to the old school roots of centipede and gridrunner - both of which can be quite unforgiving games, (this is still a lot easier than them 'cuz of the powerups).....if I do a sequel I'll think about health-bars again.
