My fourth year film at Calarts!
I am absolutley gobsmacked by this movie.
The art was magnificant. The animation was smooth and true. A lot of traditional animation was used in this peice and it really is my favourite kind.
Your creatures are wonderfully imagined; even the ones that resemble mundane creatures look like a brand new idea.
The plot device was very clever at the end; a lot of great animations don't satisfy at the end, but this really does.
To date, this is my favourite movie on Newgrounds.
I'm going to check your profile now, and if there isn't more work by you I really hope you submit more.
This is the sort of entertainment I want to show my kids.
Thank you so much for this valuable contribution to the site.
This is pretty damn great, it looks beautiful. Great work!
Wow! such potential, you have made without a doubt the best animated feature i've seen on here!
First impressions from the animation style were absolutely positive -- quality is no concern here, and the pastels and watercolors are supremely pleasing. The plot (not so sure that is the correct word) is engaging in its abstract, wordless way, satisfying, and has a slight hint of nightmarishness without being frightening. Without words you flesh out your characters, their visual design is complete, and they remain self-consistent behaviorally.
In short, you have made one of those "flawless" kind of animations.
How will Kratos survive the Night?
