Seems like this is more just someone being butthurt then anything actually 'factual' I'm not sure if you where trying to be deep, or funny, or what... But it pretty much just comes off as a crap flash, made because someone was annoyed.

A very valid message behind this video - but it doesn't make this movie a good one. Regurgitating inspiring speeches over a five minute slideshow loop doesn't impress.

Perhaps create a decent video just as inspiring as this speech and put them together - then you would have somthing fantastic, perhaps?

It's good but not entertaining.

I understand your point and agree wholeheartedly that young adults and children of our generation aren't achieving their full potential and have the worst idols in history. Most people try to blame the parents but you were right in saying everyone who is a part of this new generation has to pull their own and be responsible for their actions. This flash gives that point well, but at the same time you cannot disregard that every generation has their negative points as well. The generations before ours were racist, alcoholics, coke-heads, sexists, close minded and about every generation smokes marijuana, especially now-a-days. Of course not everyone applies to that statement as well as not all of our generation are good for nothings.

You know, there's always going to be positives and negatives and the best way to evolve as a species is to address the negatives and make them positive. The 60's and 70's generations did exactly that, they learned that many things we were doing as a country and as a people were wrong so they did something about it and tried to change the world. They succeeded in some aspects but failed at most.

This flash might influence people to better themselves and hopefully it will give people a chance to think about what is wrong with the world and try and do something about. Next time give some suggestions on how people can help with the problem instead of just saying, "hey, there's a problem and I'm looking right at it." Maybe talk about respect like holding the door open or visit your grandparents more or something. This flash has some very negative remarks about some of the pictures and that might not go well with some people, so they will completely disregard the overall message. When you try and influence people to make a change you need to show that you yourself aren't ignorant and should be respected. I do not believe you showed that in this flash because of those remarks and animations towards some of the people presented. Show some class and maybe you'll get the feedback you desire.

Good luck with your endeavors and I support (most of) this flash.

Yes because the photos of a few guidos and wiggers you found out of a Google search account for all of modern American society. This is totally fair and balanced. No bias here, no sir, not at all.

Also take into an account all the fucked up sociological shit that occurred during the time period you're praising such as racial, homophobic and gender discrimination.

Also note that the generation prior to this one is responsible for the degeneracy of today, just in case you thought that MTV is run by twelve year olds or something to that effect. Although the folk of the 1940's may not have been filled with drunkards-- oh wait, yes they were, prohibition caused national alcoholism to take an upswing and gave leeway for the mafia to continue existing.

In summarization, the generation you favor were indeed degenerates, the only difference between then and now is the dynamic of degeneration, not the quality. If you don't like your own generation, you could always follow the ways of old and make some bathtub gin in reverence to the early 1900s.

But since we're on the topic of degeneration, let's talk about this shitty SWF file you've created as an attempt to make me blind from pure ugliness of character and quality. There's no preloader, the import pictures were poorly compressed at best, your text is comprised of chicken scratch created with the paint brush tool and not the actual text tool, there are no movie control options beyond the default drop down menu which for the sake of professionalism should have been programmed out.

The content is obnoxious, needlessly judgmental, incredibly immature and shows that you have an ugly character. If you're so much better than these people, than answer me this; how much more mature are you than everyone else if your main dynamic of critique is drawing penises aimed at someone's asshole, making sexist remarks toward female celebrities and poorly depicting someone take a shit with orange chicken scratch?

The "greatest generation" were nothing more than a group of bigoted, sexually repressed alcoholics. What's that? You're rebuking my generalization by bringing examples of people from that generation leaving a positive effect? Well, if you're not going to acknowledge positive examples of today's society, then why should I acknowledge positive examples back then? In other words, I'm calling you a narrow minded, hypocritical imbecile.

Your thoughts portray my state of being. Although this is good, the animation could be better. Still 6/10 for me ^^

There is no way that this movie should make it onto this or any site. Your arguments are based on images that do not represent the real attitudes of the time. You are making broad statements from these images that have absolutely no real proof. All those beautiful, well dressed white people that you say represent the "Greatest Generation" are the same people who turned fire hoses and dogs on black people. Also, you say absolutely nothing of the time period in which these images came. Those war images and the Greatest Generation came from the last war that should have actually been fought, WWII. Not to mention your own language. What would the greatest generation have to say about you dropping the C-bomb about people you don't know and making racist overtones playing off of stereotypes with your depiction of blacks?

I understand the message you're trying to convey, but to but it simply; you don't get it accross very well . You don't ever make a good point by callling people "bitch" or "fag". It's immature. The quality isn't great either. This isn't an animation, it's a boring slideshow. Remake it, add a play button, use well thought out points and resubmit. You can do better than this. Take a leaf out of the book of the generation you love so much, and put in a bit of good old fashioned hard work.

I absolutely agree with the message you are trying to express here.. but in terms of "artistic style", it is lacking

You were somewhat making a point untill you just started calling everyone a "fag", "bitch" or "tool". Doesn't really reinforce anything.

Nope, using offensive language and promoting a senseless waste of life through war is NOT a way to encourage modern youth down morally positive path. Also, you're reinforcing stereotypes and stigmatising all of us. I can see what you were trying to do and I support it but tbh you've gone about it the complete wrong way. Better luck next time.

Thank you sir. You have quite an inspiring message here. Imagine what our generation would be able to aspire to if we weren't addicted to television and pointless shit-culture. Alas all too many people have fallen helplessly and complacently into the mediocre existance presented to them by media giants, and tech suppliers, and the cunts at facebook and world of warcraft. I'd high five you but five stars will have to do.
