I really like this style. I'm not sure if I would call it a shooter so much though. You have chances to shoot to save yourself, but like one other person mentioned I really wish weapon reload was a bit faster. Normally the music would have driven me insane, but this is a rather hypnotic game - so it fits in well. Still haven't beaten it yet, but getting closer.

If I'm going to be able to shoot, I need to be able to do it often enough to make a difference. As it is, with such a long reload time, and only being able to shoot towards the inside, the abilty is pretty much useless. Other than that, very fun game.
