I liked the game although the highscore thing doesn't work and it is easy but it ran well on my computer and the shield did work but I do find it weird how the sheild and bombs destroy the projectiles but they don't blow up when you run into them even though it isn't exact when you mave the mouse it shouldn't matter as long as your computer doesn't lag.

I'm unsure of what is causing the Highscores not to work as I have followed the instructions exactly. It's a copy and paste process so there's really nothing I could have done wrong. The robot isn't actually your mouse, it follows your mouse. The red crosshairs are your cursor.

Thanks for your review, glad you enjoyed it.

Slow, awkward, high scores are broken, the music is annoying. What more can I say?

I think that this needs a massive overhaul as I can't seem to get the controls to work. I had to press pause so many times, to get the game to respond, it was ridiculous. I tried reloading, as I thought that there was an issue with Firefox, but it kept acting really weirdly. You move your mouse and wait about a second, then the robot flies straight towards where you've moved to. If this is straight through an enemy, then you lose a life for your trouble.

Avoider games are usually quite fun for a minute or two, but this one got old very quickly. I think there might be an issue with the programming, as the whole thing seemed to be running too slowly, to make much sense. I think that if you get struck by an enemy, it should be removed from the game, rather than hitting you and still having chance to hit you again, after you've recovered. Given the way that everything else fits in, this game could be really good, with a little more work.

I don't know what could possibly cause the game to run so slowly. It seams to work well for most people and it works well for me, my computer is severely outdated. I recommend trying it on DeviantArt (The link is on my profile) and seeing if the problems still occur. If they do, then let me know and I'll look into it. I'd also like for you to note that the robot isn't actually your mouse, it follows your mouse. The red crosshairs are your cursor. This may explain part of the weirdness you experienced.

The music isn't for everyone, I did add an off button for it though. I can assure you that it isn't a problem with the programming as the programming is practically fool proof. I believe that it may be result to an external issue. If you could send me a private message with as much detail as possible, I'll look into it. Include if possible: your browser and browser version, flash player version, JavaScript version, any plugins or addons you have active and any software or other open windows you had running at the time.

Thanks for your review and feedback. Hopefully I can resolve the issues described.

Looks like a pretty basic mouse-avoider. I didn't play very long, because the entire game stutters. I think you can solve the problem by adding more frames to the animations.

ToastedToastyToast responds:

Stutters? There really isn't any animations, everything is coded except the flame on the robot. I don't understand what you mean by this, but I think by stutter you mean lag. If so then turn down the quality and it will run much better, or use a better computer if possible.

This game has a lot of potential! It's a nice concept and the controls weren't laggy or choppy (a game-killer in other games of similarity).

BUT! I found a glitch. The invincibility shield doesn't work. I got it twice (once from a shield powerup and once from a random block) and both times I still took damage even while under the shield's effect.

Also the high score board didn't work >.<

ToastedToastyToast responds:

Thanks, the concept was fairly simple. I find that lag and such is subjective, it depends on what computer your using, active downloads, windows and even what site you're using.
The high score boards don't seam to work for me. I am unsure of why this is. The invincibility shield should work, in fact it kills enemies as well as acting as a protective shield.
