This was a game of a superior quality to most. It was a very nice game and I enjoyed it.
I liked the lack of violence and even though there is no background story, in your description you paint a beautiful picture of a forgiving marine. Good job, even if you didn't try too hard on it.

Also, your music is beautiful.

cute little platformer, i love the premise - though i wish there was an actual mechanic to the hugging. since the challenge is pretty low, and the platforming already exploratory, you could have totally hidden alien bros to hug all around, yknow? but whatever, first game. that said, designing environments seems like your strong suit - i loved the beach ruins level and would have loved to see more of the sunken ship. you're obviously clever and it'll be awesome to see what else you'll put out.

Surprisingly fun. I'm especially fond of how the undersea stage FEELS undersea, with the slow movement and the slow, purposeful music.

This game, simply put, doesn't overstay its welcome. Fun!

Really enjoyable game during the first playthrough, the music is really well made and the graphics make it just an old-school game. BUT! I can't give 5 stars for some things:
1. As TheVikingKing said, maybe adding the option before starting the game to change to WASD controls.
2. No mute button.
3. It's really, really, REALLY short. I finished it in 5 minutes, I suggest adding at least 5 more levels.
That's all.
