An experimental indie art game where the player must discover its purpose.

The game does have an ending. Can you find it?

This is my first submission to the site, although I've been using Newgrounds for a very long time. I already know how I feel about the game, so anything you have to say about it - good, bad, observationary, whatever - is appreciated.

Very simple game to beat, getting a complete understanding of the controls and how the rectangles move is almost more of a challenge than the game itself. I'm at a loss for the people who can't figure this out, and for the people who need hints just turn in to the guy and git hit by the rain a few times

I appreciate your feedback!

A lot of people complained about the controls I tried changing them, but not of the changes matched my artistic vision for the project. Not to mention that changing the controls would have made the game so much easier... Maybe too easy for my own comfort?

It's RIGHT to go to the author's profile page.

About the game, it's easy when you figure out what you have to do. I don't consider it a fun game, but nice. Maybe that's why not everyone enjoys it.

TheAdventMaster responds:

Thanks! Glad you figured it out.

I'll try and make future projects more fun. This was more of a piece of art made for personal satisfaction.

Well, I finally beat the game. I had been trying to get to the top of the screen but that was too hard and I couldn't think of what else to do. Then I read someone say that they left and came back and had won. I made a little ramp, hid under it without moving for a few seconds and it stopped raining and I won. I did the same thing again, but got hit on purpose by one of the last drops on the screen and unlocked curious. I have no idea how to visit your page from the game, so I haven't gotten that medal. A short little story to show how much the character hates the rain would have helped point in the right direction. Ok game

TheAdventMaster responds:

Thanks for your feedback!

The game is more abstract than a character who simply hates rain, so that short little story would have been inaccurate. I may reveal this story's secrets some day, but I wanted to build something which would explain itself through the game play, while leaving the story up to the player's interpretation.

I really enjoy games, like this one. it makes you take a totally different approach to playing it. i also liked the concept, simple and interesting.

TheAdventMaster responds:

Thanks, I really appreciate it!

That was my goal. I know the approach isn't 100% solid, but I'm really interested in games which break out of the box of standard game play.
