The black and white with the comic book concept is a really good idea for this series.

Highly creative oldschool vampire series.
So much more true to the orginal 3 books than say, Buffy. I throughly enjoyed the back and white scratchy film, like the would have had say in the 1920's or even earlier. The setting is supposedly early 20th century. But some of the gadets he has are definetly modern day. The movie is like a dark Batman, Scooby Doo, Dark Wing Duck cartoon. From dark leafless trees to the main characters hunch in his car, this animation sets the mood for death in all but subtle ways.

I didn't like it
A freaking EXCELLENT movie, but I just wasn't in the mood for it I guess.
