One, chopping limbs off is rarely good strategy when you can attack their head and just kill them. Two, my slaves always started out at level one even if I bought higher level slaves with good stats. Three, random equipment in the shop that is always lower level than my enemies (even when my gladiators are higher level than them)--super annoying. Other than these things, this is a great game I enjoyed a lot.

Game play seems pretty good, flow is good. The only problem is how the game calculate chance for hit, block, miss, dodge. One time, I had my lv 22 dude not hitting the opponent 5 times in a row (miss, block, miss, block, dodge) when chance of hit is 85% or higher. Another time when I was facing a higher lv opponent, 3 dudes on my team miss/dodge/block for a total of 3 rounds (with 2x combo, I miss like 10 times in a row).

So are you guys just going to say bad luck as this is how the game runs or there is something wrong?

Otherwise, the game is good. Keep up the good works!!!

P.S. Maybe my computer is getting old. It lags after half an hour of game play.

Pretty Good. How come An 82% hit chance lands less than half the time?

The shield-wielding enemies are grossly overpowered when you reach Rome. Their shield bash automatically puts them into a blocking position after the attack, and from then on they ALWAYS block EVERY attack made against them. Not only so, but they also immediately automatically retaliate when you attack them and heal an amount of health after every turn. They heal so much, in fact, that bleeding is fully negated and they actually gain health, healing any wounded limbs.
The game is good. I enjoyed it, but I don't have any motivation to actually continue. I've conquered every city up until now, but the fact that there's an enemy who cannot at all be killed if I don't do so right away... It's just downright vexing.
