Speed doesn't mean anything later in the game. I play against gladiators and I have twice or three times as much speed as they do and I always go second. There is no increase in frequency. Even if it was the average speed amongst characters 2 of my characters have speeds above 30, the other one is a solid 15. I face opponents with speed levels all below 20. I'm considering of reseting my characters stats and put them into but SPEED.

Okay, I enjoyed the game BUT! There is always a downside. What is this downside you may ask? The way that you have set up the enemies makes it so that you either HAVE to grind to upgrade your gladiator enough to survive the later challenges JUST IN THE FIRST ARENA -OR- you have to do the pay to win stuff that is gamergold and facebook. Even multiplayer requires facebook? Really? Is it so hard to make a flash game that does not require such to just play it multiplayer (the answer is no, by the way.)

Simply put, I refuse to rate this four or higher BECAUSE you have opted to sell out and make these things a requirement to avoid having to spend hours on end grinding the same gladiator you killed a hour ago just so you have the stats and equipment to fight the next one. I tried playing it the free way and I can honestly say, you've shot yourself in the foot.

Still, there's always next time. Admittedly there was very little to fault of the music (if it is a bit repetitive, please add more tracks?) and the graphics were pretty neat (but where are their bones?)...

Hope the next game you won't resort to stuff like this.
