After beating three coliseums, getting 17K gold, and four teammates. I can say that this is a great game based around strategy and in no way P2P. It's a MMO type game with a rather large number of singleplayer battles in several arenas. With each skill path being diverse and stats really matter. The randomly generating shop goods is a cool feature. But it gets annoying after awhile. Combat is not really repetitive although it tends to boil down to spamming one or two attacks and praying that they don't miss or that they aren't blocked. Overall this gets 4 stars. If you enjoy this type of game, then I strongly recommend it. Although it takes time to get anywhere in it, so you need several hours to throw away.

I have noticed when i log on with a different computer it resets my game.. this has stopped me numerous times now at getting to the end of the game and i would really like to see this fixed so i can play this game properly.

This is a balanced good game! A solid way to progress, a excellent combat system, good music and sound effects, and a money system for buying and making weapons to impale enemy's. I can only give this 4 stars though because there still are some minor bugs, (as usual with big games like this) and an unnecessarily large cost for slaves.(squadmates) And i think there should be a little more character customization so i don't have to rage over small things like different beards and hair for different skin types, overall great game! PS: aren't those sound effects from swords and sandals? AKA fizzy.com?

I feel like the most recent "patch" did a lot to fix the initial balance issues with the game. It's ultimately in an enjoyable state right now. My only issues left with the game is that there isn't a lot of strategy involved in it. Most of the time you are going to hammer on the weakest limb to quickly take down opponents. The game might be slightly more dynamic if there where ways to stun enemies, poison them, something to open up strategy a little more beyond simply whittling down HP bars.

The only other *minor* problem I have is that the character you create isn't really anything special; most of the slaves you can buy will wind up having superior stats even at level 1. It's sort of bothersome.

Those complaints aside, it's a fun game that's worth throwing an hour or two into.

It's a fun game overall, but (for example) a fighter shouldn't be able to throw a net with their non-existent arm. Some of the little things like that get annoying.
