i noticed one of the probably several bugs: rising speed doesn't make u faster but make u slower!
i got something like 43 n i attack just 1 time a round and always for last, the other teammates with 10 in speed do 2 attack in a round... =_=
the idea of the game is not bad, yes repetitive but it's ok, but the bugs make it really unpleasant
Besides the broken hit rate I think its an ok game
swords and sandles is a lot better than this because there are mayor glitches or just the fact there was some short cuts in the making of this game like many other people have commented because i can tell you're team is not going to read this comment just like other people said. you really need to read these comments in order to fix these errors other than that its a okay game.
Dear Team Bezerk, I know you guys don't read this, but let me put it this way so JUST maybe you will notice something. This game is the most horrible thing you guys published, to the point that I do believe it didn't deserve to be even a Weekly Game on NG.
Here is why;
1- The Hit-Rate, as MANY peeps mentioned, is broken, and not in a good way, I mean literally, a character with 100 Dex and 99% chance of hitting a target with a Weak Attack ends up missing when very specifically, in the tutorial, the player was told "Weak attacks land commonly", hence from the math side only, weak attacks should be with high Dex = 100% hits, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Broken hit system is broken, shame on you. This is the barebone of RPG games! And you guys messed up one of the most important terms in it! Indie cool my arse.
2- The only viable option in terms of gameplay by midgame is literally, Spear and Shield. Shield with Counter at 45% pretty much means your character is left untouched, while a Spear means you can Max out the skill Throw and have it peg Shield users to high-heaven, so you pretty much have a Win-Win situation with this build, especially since MP isn't lacking, nor is money for upgrades. Oh, also, Murm build is the only thing the user should Max since the others pretty much are a death sentence by late-game, and Maxing out Throw is only other thing you need.
3- Talking about pegging enemies, enemies seem to only attack one character ONLY and one body part, as soon as that body part blows up, they attack the next character, which shoots all strategy out of the window honestly, hence why shield your character that gets attacked alot (Hint: It's not the main character) and have the other two peg the enemies, again, win-win situation.
4- Also, how-come EVERYONE but the user gets to attack first? The only time Speed affects the first hit is in MP, but as mentioned, a shield and spear build = all problems and strategy gone.
5- Stats, are pretty much one sided, NONE of them do anything at ALL! Dex caps out at pretty much 60, and you need to pump in it more point at double values needed to have it compensate your Tech to land on target, which is ridiculous. I need 2x the amount of points vs. standard attacks to hit with my Techs? Great, Vitality is useless since your armor takes all the hits, and it seems like Weapons do 1.2/5 damage to body parts vs. armors.
The List goes on, but the final turning point for me was how you guys had a SPELLING MISTAKE at the Athena Colosseum, you wrote Battle as "Vattle" and this showed me one thing, you guys made this game in a rush, didn't put in any effort, it's almost as if you guys had one programmer do all the work only to leave you guys halfway through and have another programmer try to make the best out it.
Finally, the art is atrocious compared to what you guys put out recently, I mean hard-shadowed tweened avatars? Is that the effort you guys put in now? Blood cells are essentially fresneled blobs.
The game could be great, really, but it has some serious flaws, which sometimes make playing a frustration.
First of all, it's the second time I lost almost all my progress. Losing *hours* of progresses is not something that make you want to play more. This is the most severe flaws and it needs a rapid solution IMO.
Second: as others have pointed out, percentages needs to be adjusted. It's useless to know that I have a 96% chanche of hitting when clearly this isn't the case. If there are other factors that come into play in determining the chanche of hitting, they should be accounted and the player should be aware of this.
Third: It's not clear how the stats influence the gameplay. How does altering my strenght affect damages? How does improving my defense stat affect the chanche of the enemy to hit me? This should be explained clearly IMO.
Otherwise, this could be a great game. It is addicting, it's not too easy nor too difficult, and it's funny. But I won't play again until the first problem is solved.
