I feel like the most recent "patch" did a lot to fix the initial balance issues with the game. It's ultimately in an enjoyable state right now. My only issues left with the game is that there isn't a lot of strategy involved in it. Most of the time you are going to hammer on the weakest limb to quickly take down opponents. The game might be slightly more dynamic if there where ways to stun enemies, poison them, something to open up strategy a little more beyond simply whittling down HP bars.

The only other *minor* problem I have is that the character you create isn't really anything special; most of the slaves you can buy will wind up having superior stats even at level 1. It's sort of bothersome.

Those complaints aside, it's a fun game that's worth throwing an hour or two into.

How can I miss when they are disabled? I don't find this as a bug really...I find it more of a realism thing. If they can't move, how am I to miss or they do dodge?

If they can do that, then there should be at least some way to fight back when you are disabled yourself. Otherwise it's just an instant quit.

Great game. However whenever I go to fight the next team in the coliseum, they get the fucking strong weapons and I got the cheap shitty weapons.

My only problem here is the lack of options specially the Pass option. Why? Because every time I use my shield bash technique which is 5 turns of block but gets deactivated because i had to make my turn. And can you please add bosses and mini-bosses in each city.

Thats all.

Another excellent game by Berzerk Studios!! I haven't had this much fun playing a turn based fighter like this in a long time. Now that the speed issue has been fixed along with some other things, all of my complaints have been satisfied. Though one thing I would like to have would be a more detailed version of the school (where your extra gladiators sit around while you fight). as much as I enjoy playing this game, I do not want to sit around for hours and train up a new recruit to my current level, nor do I want my excess gladiators to not gain experience and lag behind as a result of not using them. I think it would be cool to create a sort of ludus system (like in the tv show Spartacus) that you could upgrade the facility or hire a better lanistae to manage it. I know this would be a lot of work to add, but it would only give us something else to work towards spending our money on and I think would give the game a more historically accurate feel to it (fighting under a ludus as opposed to roaming the cities). Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed this game! Keep up the good work!
