The best turn-based game I've ever played! The only thing I don't like is that severed limbs disappear as soon as they hit the ground.

This game was actually really fun and kept me up until 6 in the morning until the enemies started doing critical damage every hit, or every other hit if I got lucky, which made it impossible to continue. The difficulty curve is more like a cliff. I only died once at the beginning while learning the ropes, then cruised through every level no problem up until the point where every enemy gets a very drastic damage and health boost. I dunno, maybe I didn't try very hard once things got near-impossible.

Wow, this reminds me somewhat of the very first Final Fantasy. The turn based action seems fast paced, however there is some repetitive gameplay later on.

Aw what the heck, I loved this game, and was stuck for about 7 hours on it.

A great game to be said, it captures everything the games were and offers a lot of options in design for your warriors though I have to say I found a few bugs with it; the shield bash attack is still insane for the MP you spend and the attack/defense it offers, throwing enemies nearly crit every time versus your warriors who have the standard range and the pay offs even at higher levels is a fraction of what is needed to keep warriors well supplied without having to go back and play for two hours plus in order to save up in addition to the dismal items you get... I'm in the higher end of the game and still getting basic armor and weapons. But other then that I have to say this is a great little RPG, would love to see another like it
