What happened? Am I broken?

I just made this for fun (and to try out Stencyl) It's a pretty neat piece of software, sure was fun to play with. I was going to wait and submit this for Robotday and all that, but I can't spend anymore time playing around with the tools right now. So I'd rather just get it submitted and get back to work on Sagittarian 4.

Notes on Stencyl, MOST of the function in game came with the software. Jumping, all of that. I customized some bits here and there, but the hard part was done. Area transitions, I never found any good tools for that so I built my own in the Stencyl scripting language to allow back and forth between maps.

Interesting game plot, there was a few things that did bother me. The lack of instructions for controls and objective being them. I can understand this game of exploring and finding yourself is the key component of the game but it felt a little lackluster and you didn't build too much on it. The double jump was something I didn't know the protagonist had till a bit later and by accident.

The ending was a little cliche but works. Still think you could've build on the reason behind the creators and their creations. Even though we the group could easily guess what happen. The controls felt like the old megaman games where you're clinging to the walls, even the body model was slightly similar.

A bit old school with some modern mix. Good job.

Interesting game to play - but I kept waiting for something to do other than to just make it to the end. It did have a moral at the end which was worthwhile, though.

It seems like a good concept but its obviously incomplete, there's no music in the game and some of the jumps (specifically the one after falling through the tunnel) require some extreme precision. What really hurts this game the most is the lack of a checkpoint system, I got about 8 screens in before I fell down a hole and ended up right back at the beginning of the first screen, I highly doubt that was a design choice. Also there should be some kind of way to know where those bottomless pits are, you don't need a neon sign that says "don't fall here" but something so that when you jump it isn't like "you thought there was solid ground down here? lol there isn't."

Overall this game is playable but I can't honestly say it was fun.
