absolutely irritating game. my character just starts out repeatedly dying over and over by that little flame enemy.

The platforms are so small and the jumps so clumsy...

I think there are many improvements you can make on this game that would make it much better. For one, in my opinion, when I die in a video game I like to have it feel justified, maybe show me dying so I can see where I went wrong and learn from my mistake, instead of getting hit and being transported instantly back to the start of the game. If you could just put in a few frames showing me falling to the ground and maybe making it a bit smoother I think that would go a long way.

Another thing us obviously the lack of variation. So far the only enemies I've encountered were fire balls, so maybe adding a few more enemies that do different things, have different attacks would be cool to see as well. I also like the idea of timing my jumps in order to move on, but when an enemy kills me it feels sort of cheap, like I don;t get enough time to process it - this ties into my first paragraph - show the player how they died, it'll feel more justified than just getting warped back to the start of the level before we even know what's happening.

It'd also be nice to feel more of a reward for completing a level, I'll admit, I didn't finish the game because of a bug on level 5, but maybe just a "level complete" once in a while would be nice.

And about that bug, as was mentioned in the comments below, when I get to a certain level, there is no respawn after falling. You might want to fix that as well.

I wish you the best of luck, hopefully you'll take some of my points into account!

At least it's short. The perspective on walking surfaces is wildly inconsistent which makes it annoying when trying to jump over obstacles. Not much fun.

the jumping is very glitched and the whole game is extremely shallow. Put in more enemies and obstacles than just fireballs and platforms.

also when i fell on the fifth level and died, it didnt even respawn me, so I couldn't continue.
