A huge thank you to Tom and the gang at NG for putting this crazy game on the front page - I'm honoured! :)

This game was actually put together in just less than a week as a sort of personal game-jam challenge (which accounts for its simplicity). I'm so pleased to see people playing it and (I hope) enjoying it - I'm very keen to make a far more complicated sequel so keep your suggestions coming and thanks again!

Kash ftw lawlz
just plain button mashing and mobbing everybody together
It was actually pretty fun; but there's not much skill to it.

solo:
jump away and then hit the players that are already fighting technique.

teams:
shield attacks and wait for other team mate.
always gang up
make the team mate take damage.

Simple things got me to win

if you were going for a smash bros. style of game, you missed your mark. Each game in that series was about controlling parts of the map using your special attacks. You have to be strategic and lay down moves that have a large effect on the field of play and either trick or force your enemy into that attack. It's not as much about bashing knuckles as you might believe. Anything that would allow characters to play with a strategy that wasn't "charge forward and punch a lot" would have made this game a ton better. What's really sad is that there are plenty of ways to include something like this, ranging from simple item drops to what could become a fairly robust character editor with randomly generated enemies.
Graphically, Musically, and Aesthetically, this game is quite polished. The gameplay is bug free and the UI is fitting, but there's ultimately not much depth to this game, and that disappoints me greatly, and I'm certain I speak for many gamers

A few things that may have made this MUCH better; First of all, more attacks. a kick maybe, or even just an aerial attack would have satisfied me. Second, the battles were boring and repetitive, maybe a few items or stage hazards could fix that. All in all (although I liked the character creation) the entire game felt very stale.
