"WHY IS THE FILE SIZE SO BIG?! ZERO VOTE"
^^^This is not a flash file, it is a video file. .swf uses vectors, so small, <10 mb files are common. .MP4 VIDEO files are raster, which make for heavier files. When you watch a YouTube video at 720p, I can assure you, it is not 10 mb, so it is the same on Newgrounds.

After months of preproduction and even more months of animating, backgrounds, color, effects, and clean up, my senior thesis for the University of the Arts is complete.
A hypernova in a distant galaxy sent a meteor filled with powerful, extremely rare Dark Matter to Earth. Ecilpse Force, consisting of the arrogant, Sun-powered Sol and the intelligent Moon-fueled Luna, must secure the meteorite for safe extracton. However, their mission is quickly interrupted by a shadowy man by the name of Cygnus, who uses black hole powers to absorb energy around him. If he absorbs Dark Matter, nothing on Earth will stand in his way.

This is an amazing animation. I was able to receive all the story line. I needed with in the short 7 min. I love how you gave the characters personalities. and not the who cleaciaed personality that fits there power. you had action and humor were it was needed. you did a fantastic job on this and I hope we'll see more. I can tell these two characters are going to make for great entertainment, on and off the battle field. this would make a great manga series.

Smooth! The style is pretty professional, not flawless but the audio levels work out nicely and the voice acting is great. Sol, personality-wise, reminds me of Static Shock. I like the plot, it doesn't seem to be an overdone superhero cliche, but more importantly, I'm psyched that the heroes actually get TIRED. It makes sense, right? It's more realistic than the heroes that just keep fighting without a scratch, and it lends credibility to the animation. Awesome job!

I've read so many serious people posting serious comment.
THIS IS A SHORT. No need to have a full movie like scenario. And the whole story is perfectly fine for a 7 minutes animation, no need to have 10 minutes of explanation+5 minutes of introduction or flashback+5 other minutes of dialogues to cover "why they have their power, why he is so evil, who are they working for, why her haicut sucks and why, WHY SO SERIOUS?!".
Can't people enjoy a simple action animation with a simple storyline?
So it's fun, well animated, characters are good and there are few good ideas as far as it is for a short animation made for an art thesis based on animation. Voices are nice too, and songs are not bad.
