Zelda Link and his misadventures have always made for some great spoofs and tributes.

Author Comments

After finally saving Zelda, all Link wants to do is spend some "quality time" together, but Zelda has other plans...

Special Thanks to Dexter Manning for writting this skit and providing the hilarious voices! ^_^

Note from AGG:
This cartoon is the first episode of the Zelda Uncut series! I hope you guys like it! I have plenty more episodes lined up so I hope you'll check them out!

You can see more episodes of Zelda Uncut and AGG Toons on my Youtube channel which is linked in the video :)

I'm hoping to eventually get all of the episodes uploaded here as well, but I usually update my Youtube first.

I have a lot more planned and on the way so please stay tuned! :D

Thanks!

man that's depressing, pretty funny though, would have given you 5 if link and saria got together. "Link and Saria will be friends forever", poor link perpetually friendzoned.

Yyyyyyep. That pretty much sums up the ending of OoT for me.

Although, if I wanna get nitpicky, this version of events is... Well, doubly wrong as to what happens after Zelda shoots Link to the past. First, in the original game's ending you see Link go back to meet Zelda again as a child. (Gotta tell you, THAT would have been interesting to see animated, if only for the rant.)

Second, OoT is one of the only Zelda games with a direct sequel, Majora's Mask. Which... Kinda doesn't leave a lot of room for wacky depressing hijinks over the course of Link's puberty. He's too busy enacting Groundhog Day and trying to stop the moon.

But hey, good for a laugh, and the premise is one I'd like to see more of. Well done. The art was exceptional throughout and the music quite good. The sucker-punch ending could likely have been guessed, (I mean, if life was already that cruel to the Hero of Time after his adventure was over, a good ending was out of the question...) but it was pretty definitive as to the "End" of the joke. Rule of thumb, though, try to avoid ending the scene on "Characters die." It goes for any presented media, and this is no exception. Cheapens the whole experience, in my opinion.

Let me be clear: I WANT to see more. Hell, I'm honestly hoping to see Twilight Princess properly looked at (And how Link had the closest thing to a full relationship with a female in a Zelda game ever with Midna) and your take on it. Keep in mind your audience, avoid the cheap way out of ending the joke via death, and keep up the effort on the technical side, and you'll rock the house with this. Din-speed, gentleman and lady. Din-speed.
