My first game! (beta 1.2 (added newgrounds button)) You are a robot square, shooting enemy shapes to save your life. instructions in-game (warning: very laggy, i'm working on it)

Very enjoyable game. I'm not going to lie but I am trying to compete in StencyJam2012 and I'm checking on the entries every now and then to see if I should bother continuing, :/
Out of all the games I've played so far for the contest (there's not that many right now, but I'm assuming the next 2 weeks will see a surge of entrees), this is the one I have spent the most time on. I can play and forget the others, but I keep coming back to this one, which is also distracting me from actually working on my game.

Wow.. Thanks! This makes me feel awesome! I appreciate it a lot, though unfortunately I decided I will not be continuing this project, even though I said I would. But I am working on a new game.
It'd be a 5 but i can't figure out how to buy upgrades. I've hit literally every button possible :|

in the tutorial text (sorry i know its hard to read) it says press space bar. if that doesn't work you probably dont have enough money
